ZAMBOANGA CITY, July 6, 2022 – As we usher in the health month in the Philippines, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) 9 in partnership with the Zamboanga Peninsula Federation of Family Welfare Committees, Incorporated will hold a webinar series dubbed as Protektadong Pamilya sa Gitna ng Pandemya: Strengthening Family Welfare Committees Amidst the Pandemic”.
The webinar will begin its first session on July 8, 2022 (Friday) from 1:00 to 4:00 PM via Zoom Teleconference and will be streamed simultaneously on DOLE 9’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/DOLERegion9).
Atty. Roy L. Buenafe, DOLE 9 Regional Director said that the webinar series aims to to support and strengthen the Family Welfare Program (FWP) in the workplace through learning sessions on different FWP dimensions such as Reproductive Health & Responsible Parenthood and Nutrition among others.
Joining the session as resource speakers are Elton N. Pelegrino, RN, Nutrition Officer II of the National Nutrition Council to speak on Nutrition in the Family and the Workplace amidst COVID-19 and Dr. Abdul Javar Esturco, Safety and Environment Unit Head of Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC) to share Promotion of a Healthy Lifestyle.
